Ginger Prawn

Ginger Prawn

1 kg medium sized prawn
2 tablespoons QBB
50 g ginger, slices
80 g red chillies, sliced lengthwise
1 tablespoon fermented bean paste(tau chu)
125 g tomato sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
250 ml water
3 tablespoons evaporated milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 anchovy stock cube
Salt to taste

Wash and clean prawns by making a slit at the back of the prawns but keep the shells intact.
Heat QBB and saute the ginger and fermented bean paste until fragrant.
Add the red chillies and saute for 1 minute.
Add in the tomato sauce, oyster sauce, water and milk and bring to boil.
Add prawns and the remaining seasoning ingredients and stir fry until prawns are cooked.
Serve hot.
