Assorted Konnyaku Jelly

Makes: 5

12 g unflavoured konnyaku powder (1 pkt)
160 g caster sugar
1000 ml water
Red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple colouring
Sour plums, kiwi fruits, mixed fruit cocktail, pineapple etc

METHOD

1 Combine konnyaku powder and sugar and mix well to break down any lumps.

2 Bring water to boil and add the combined konnyaku powder and sugar. Cook over low heat stirring often till boiling and sugar dissolves.

3 Remove from heat. Divide into portions and mix with colour of your choice.

4 Place filling of your choice eg sour plum into a mould and pour the konnyaku mixture over it.

5 Leave to cool and keep refrigerated till it sets.
